Master of Artis in Marriage and Family Therapy (MA-MFT)
It is truly an honour to be a therapist and accompany people on the journey toward healing and wholeness. I am deeply passionate about supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate both past wounds and current challenges. I would love the opportunity to walk alongside you in your journey, wherever you find yourself.
In our first session, my primary goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. Together, we’ll explore your unique story and work together to identify what you hope to achieve and begin outlining a path forward. My aim is to co-build a trusting relationship where you feel supported and empowered, every step of the way.
>Healing is not a linear process—it’s a deeply personal journey, and it looks different for everyone.
Therapy can provide a supportive space where you can explore and make sense of your experiences, offering the chance for real growth and transformation.
Having gone through my own healing journey, I understand the courage it takes to seek therapy and make meaningful change. I’m here to create a warm, non-judgmental environment where you feel safe to explore challenges and seek hope, knowing that you are supported every step of the way.
Couples Approach: Every individual brings their own unique experiences to a relationship. My approach when working with couples is informed by Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and family systems, to help you both explore and understand the emotional patterns that influence your connection. Together we will identify any barriers to closeness and work toward fostering deeper understanding of each other’s emotions and needs, helping to strengthen your bond and enhance communication.
Individual Approach: My approach to individual therapy is integrative, drawing on attachment-focused, systemic, and somatic methods to foster holistic healing between your mind, heart, and body. This approach allows us to address current challenges while uncovering their underlying causes, promoting lasting healing and growth throughout the process.

Counselling is making space for understanding, healing, and moving forward. My mission is to provide a safe space for clients to be heard and to experience change. I work with individuals, couples, and families from a systemic, trauma-informed, and attachment-based framework. My clinical approach is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I believe that the key ingredients for change involve growing in a healthy relationship with one’s emotions and connection with others. I am excited about the opportunity to help clients discover, explore, and try something new.
Along with my counselling experiences, I have church ministry experience serving individuals and families as a pastor for over 10 years.
Dr. Diane Poole Heller writes, “We are not capable of healing in isolation. We need other people. We are hurt in relationship, and we heal in relationship.”
Whether you are experiencing difficulties on your own, with a significant other, or with multiple members of the family, know that you are not alone. I am available and committed to listen and walk alongside you in your journey towards understanding, healing, and growth.
Some of the areas that I work with include:

My training and experience focus around working with individuals and couples, and integrating faith with counselling. I have a passion for healthy marriages and helping people find healing and wholeness.
In working with couples I work from an Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT) framework, helping you better understand your patterns of connection and disconnection. This typically involves looking at the issues, the ways you and you partner pursue and/or withdraw, what’s going on under the surface in your head and emotions, and what you are needing from your partner to bring about greater safety, understanding, and engagement. This can help bring about healing and connection.
In working with individuals I specialize in depth-oriented, attachment focused, and emotion-focused psychotherapy helping clients not only work on their current difficulties, but also exploring the development of their struggles in order to bring about long term healing and growth.
Some of the areas that I work with include:
Relationship difficulties
Trauma
Anxiety and panic
Grief and loss
Depression and dissatisfaction with current circumstances
Difficulty emotionally connecting with others
Men’s issues
